The Jacobi-Cherednik operator has been used to develop a theory generalizing harmonic analysis on symmetric spaces. The aim of this paper is to establish analogues of the classical Hardy and Cowling-Price theorems when the ordinary Fourier transform is replaced by a generalized Fourier transform associated with the Jacobi-Cherednik operator.
