    Let \(d \in\mathbb Z\), \(d\geq 1\), \(T^d\) the \(n\)-dimensional torus, \(C(T^d)\) the space of complex-valued continuous functions on \(T^d\), and \(g\in C(T^d)\). Let us consider the triangular partial sums of the Fourier series of \(g\): \(S_n (g, t) = \sum_{\| k\| 1\leq n}\hat g(k)e^{ikt}\), where \(n \in\mathbb Z\), \(n \geq 1\), \(k=(k_1,k_2,\dots, k_d)\in\mathbb Z^d\), \(t = (t_1,t_2,\dots, t_d)\in T^d\) and \(k t\) is the scalar product of \(k\) and \(t\). For every \(n\geq 1\) let us set \(\| S_n\| = \max\{ \| S_n (g, t) \| : g\in C(T^d), \| g\| \leq 1\}\). It is known that \(\| S_n\| \sim (\log n)^d\) if \(n\geq 2\). The paper contains another proof of the corresponding lower estimation \(\| S_n \| \geq c (\log n)^d\), \(c > 0\).
