Let \(w_n(x)\), \(n=0,1,2,\dots\), be the Walsh functions and \(r_n(x)=w_{2^n}(x)\) the Rademacher functions. The filtered Walsh-Fourier transform \(\tilde{S}f\) is introduced by the second author \textit{W. R. Wade} [Ann. Univ. Sci. Budap. Rolando Eötvös, Sect. Comput. 33, 365--375 (2010; Zbl 1240.42137)] as the convolution of \(f\) with the modified Dirichlet kernel \[ W_p=\prod_{k=0}^\infty(1+r_k)^{p_k}, \] where \(p=\sum_{k=0}^\infty p_k2^{-k-1}\). In this paper, the authors introduce a partial order \(\dot{\leq}\) defined on \(\mathbb N\) as \(n\dot{\leq} m\) if and only if \(m_k=0\) implies \(n_k=0\), and then, prove that \(W_p\) is generated as \[ W_p=\sum_{k\dot{\leq} p}w_k. \]
