Optimal control of solutions of the Showalter-Sidorov-Dirichlet problem for the Boussinesq-Love equation (Q2251781)

In this paper the Showalter-Sidorov problem is considered, which in accordance with the authors' opinion ``is more convenient for the numerical solution of specific problems of mathematical physics''. The existence and uniqueness of a strong solution of the problem is proved, and necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of an optimal control of the solution are established. The Showalter-Sidorov-Dirichlet problem for the Boussinesq-Love equation is studied.
