Let \(X\) be a Tychonoff space and \(C(X)\) the set of all continuous real valued functions on \(X\). The compact-\(G_{\delta}\)-open topology on the set \(C(X)\), see \textit{P. Garg} and \textit{S. Kundu} [Topology Appl. 159, No. 8, 2082--2089 (2012; Zbl 1247.54024)] is the topology for which the family of all sets of the form \[ [A,V]=\{f\in C(X); f(A)\subseteq V\}, \] where \(A\) is a compact-\(G_{\delta}\) subset of \(X\) and \(V\) is open in \(\mathbb R\) compose a subbasis for this topology. This topological space is denoted by \(C_{kz}(X)\). In Section 3, the authors study various kinds of completeness properties of \(C_{kz}(X)\) such as complete metrizability, Čech-completeness, local Čech-completeness, sieve-completeness, partition-completeness and quasi-completeness of the space \(C_{kz}(X)\). In Section 4, they study the countability properties such as \(\aleph_0\)-boundedness and second countability of the space \(C_{kz}(X)\). In Section 5, they study when the locally convex space \(C_{kz}(X)\) becomes a nuclear space.
