The paper considers real planar polynomial differential systems \[ \dot{x} = P(x,y) \;, \;\;\dot{y} = Q(x,y), \] or equivalently polynomial vector fields \[ X = P(x,y) \partial_x + Q(x,y) \partial_y. \] When these admit a first integral which depends on time, we speak of an invariant. Among these are so-called \textit{Darboux invariants}; these determine the \(\alpha\)- and \(\omega\)-limit sets of the system. The paper aims at classifying all systems of the form mentioned above having a Darboux invariant and a unique algebraic curve given by a conic. The results providing this classification are given in fourteen theorems and propositions (some of them not new), drawing a complete picture of the subject.
