By the authors in this paper, it is defined that a ring \(R\) is central semicommutative if \(ab=0\) with \(a,b\in R\) implies \(aRb\subseteq Z(R)\), where \(Z(R)\) is the center of \(R\). Some properties of central semicommutative rings are studied.
