Moduli spaces of linear bundles on hyperquadrics (Q2254804)

The authors study semistable vector bundles of even rank \(2\ell\) on \(2\ell +1\) dimensional hyperquadrics, which are defined as cohomology objects of linear monads. They prove: 1. ``Symplectic special bundles are stable.'' 2. The locus \(ML_{Q_{2\ell +1}}(1)\) of rank \(2\ell\) linear bundles on \(Q_{2\ell +1}\) with \(c_2=1\) ``is smooth, irreducible of dimension \(2\ell ^2+5\ell +2\)''. 3. ``For any \(\ell \geq 2\) and \(k\geq 2\), the moduli space of \(ML_{Q_{2\ell +1}}(k)\)'' of rank \(2\ell\) linear vector bundles with \(c_2=k\) ``is singular.''
