Stability of CD-systems under perturbations in the Favard class (Q2254942)

In the paper under review, the author proves a perturbation theorem for stable families of generators of \(C_0\)-semigroups \(A(t)\), \(0 \leq t\leq T\), where the generators \(A(t)\) have a Favard class as the constant domain. The main theorem generalizes classical results on perturbation from \textit{T. Kato} [J. Fac. Sci., Univ. Tokyo, Sect. I A 17, 241--258 (1970; Zbl 0222.47011)] and \textit{H. Tanabe} [Equations of Evolutions. New York: Pitman Publishing (1979)]. As application, an example of a model of size-structured population is given.
