The notion of \(C\)-harmonic forms on Sasakian manifolds was defined by Tachibana. In the paper under review the authors introduce a harmonic theory for \(1\)-differentiable forms on Sasakian manifolds giving also an analogue study for \(C\)-harmonic forms in the context of \(1\)-differentiable forms. Firstly, the authors give an extension of some classical operators and their properties on Sasakian manifolds acting on \(1\)-differentiable forms. Next, they define \(C\)-harmonic \(1\)-differentiable forms and study several properties of these forms in relation with the classical properties of \(C\) -harmonic forms on Sasakian manifolds. Using methods similar to those used in [\textit{Y. Ogawa}, Tohoku Math. J. (2) 19, 267--296 (1967; Zbl 0156.41903); \textit{S. Tachibana}, Tohoku Math. J. (2) 17, 271--284 (1965; Zbl 0132.16203); \textit{S. Tachibana}, Tohoku Math. J. (2) 19, 198--212 (1967; Zbl 0149.39705)], the authors introduce a basic Laplacian for \(1\)-differentiable forms and characterize \(C\)-harmonic \(1\)-differentiable forms of order \(1\) and \(2\) in terms of usually harmonic and \( C\)-harmonic forms. This paper is very well presented and can also be considered as introducing a harmonic theory in the space of \(1\)-differentiable forms on Sasakian manifolds.
