Main goal of the authors is to obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the validity of weighted Rellich and Calderón-Zygmund inequalities with respect to \(L^p \) (\(1\leq p\leq \infty\)) for functions in the whole space and in the half-space with Dirichlet boundary conditions. This paper can be viewed as an extension to \(1\leq p\leq \infty\) of the previous papers by \textit{P. Caldiroli} and \textit{R. Musina} [Calc. Var. Partial Differ. Equ. 45, No. 1--2, 147--164 (2012; Zbl 1256.26013)] and \textit{N. Ghoussoub} and \textit{A. Moradifam} [Math. Ann. 349, No. 1, 1--57 (2011; Zbl 1216.35018)]. The authors compute the corresponding constants and show their optimality. They use Rellich inequalities to infer necessary and sufficient conditions for the validity of weighted Calderón-Zygmund estimates if \(1<p<\infty. \) From the main results Rellich inequalities for Schrödinger operators are deduces which are contained in the last section of the paper.
