For \(0<p<\infty\) and \(\alpha>-1\), denote by \({\mathcal D}^p_\alpha\) the space of all analytic functions \(f\) on the unit disk \(U\) such that \[ \int_U (1-|z|^2 )^\alpha |f'(z)|^p dA(z)<\infty, \] where \(dA\) denotes the area measure on \(U\). For example, \({\mathcal D}^p_{p-2}\) with \(p>1\) is the familiar analytic Besov space, and \({\mathcal D}^2_0\) is the classical Dirichlet space. Also, for \(0<\beta<1\), denote by \({\mathcal H}^p_\beta\) the class of all analytic functions \(f\) over \(U\) which admit an integral representation of the form \[ f(z)= {{1}\over{2\pi}}\int_{-\pi}^{\pi}{{F(t) dt}\over{(1-z e^{-it})^{1-\beta}}},\quad z\in U, \] for some \(F\in L^p(-\pi, \pi)\) which extends to the real line by periodicity. Assume \(-1<\alpha<p-1\) so that \(0<{{p-\alpha-1}\over {p}}<1\). First, the author proves the inclusion \({\mathcal H}^p_{(p-\alpha-1)/p} \subset{\mathcal D}^p_\alpha\) for \(p\geq 2\); the converse inclusion \({\mathcal D}^p_\alpha \subset {\mathcal H}^p_{(p-\alpha-1)/p}\) for \(1<p\leq 2\) has been known by \textit{D. Girela} and \textit{J. Á. Peláez} [J. Inequal. Appl. 2006, Article 92795, 12 p. (2006; Zbl 1101.30042)]. Next, the author investigates the boundary behavior and radial variations of functions in these spaces with \(p>1\) and \(p-2 \leq \alpha < p-1\). The author points out that the case \(1<p \leq 2\) can be treated easily by the known results in the setting of half-spaces and proves, for \(p>2\), that each \(f\in {\mathcal D}^p_\alpha\) admits certain tangential limits at almost all boundary points with explicit information on the exceptional sets in terms of zero capacity of certain order. In conjunction with this result, also more explicit information on the exceptional sets for the bounded radial variations is given in terms of zero capacity of certain order. Finally, the author obtains a result concerning the pointwise convergence of the Taylor series of the functions in \({\mathcal D}^p_\alpha\) and \({\mathcal H}^p_\beta\) with \(p>2\). The precise statements of these results are quite technical.
