The Bochner formula for isometric immersions (Q2256294)

In this paper, the author studies Bochner formula for isometrically immersed manifolds which implies the splitting of its curvature term which is a certain symmetric endomorphism of the bundle of \(p\)-forms. The main development in this article is to prove one part of the Bochner operator to be bounded below by the lowest eigenvalue of the curvature operator of the ambient manifold. Whereas the another part can be explicitly expressed in terms of the second fundamental form of the immersion. As a consequence, this leads to a number of results. The paper is well written.
