This paper deals with numerical approximations of the Poisson equation using a quasi-uniform mesh, in the three-dimensional cube. The authors construct and analyze a finite volume scheme, prove its stability, and derive optimal convergence rates in the discrete \(H^1\) norm and suboptimal convergence in the maximum norm.
