The authors present a new proof of bornologicity of the space of slowly increasing functions. The proof does not rely on any matrix representation of the object considered (unlike Grothendieck's original approach in his proof, see [\textit{A. Grothendieck}, Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 16 (1955; Zbl 0064.35501)]), but it uses homological methods. This is a short but very nicely written article.
