Let \(M\) be a complex manifold of dimension greater than \(1\) and let \(X\subset M\) be a real hypersurface. The holomorphic tangent space of \(X\) at \(x\) is \(T^{1,0}_xX : = (T_xX)^{\mathbb{C}} \cap T^{1,0}_xM \). On \(T^{1,0}_xX\) there is a Hermitian form, the Levi form, that is defined up to a nonzero multiple. A hypersurface is \textit{Levi flat} if the Levi form vanishes identically on \(T^{1,0}_xX\) for any \(x\in X\). A complex manifold \(\Omega\) is said to be \(q\)-concave if there exists an exhaustion function \(\phi : \Omega \rightarrow (0,1]\) of class \( C^ 2 \) such that \(i\partial \bar{\partial}\phi\) has at most \(q- 1\) nonpositive eigenvalues outside a compact subset of \(\Omega\). A real hypersurface \(X \subset M\) is of \textit{\(1\)-concave type} if its \(1\)-concave neighbourhoods form a fundamental system of neighbourhoods of \(X\) in \(M\). The paper under review gives a classification of compact real analytic Levi flat hypersurfaces of 1-concave type in Hopf surfaces.
