Let \(\Omega\) be a smooth bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), let \(T\in (0,+\infty)\) and let \((\hat{x},\hat{t})\in \partial \Omega \times (0,T]\). The author considers the following generalized first boundary value problem for the heat conduction equation with nonlinear point sources \[ \begin{alignedat}{2}\frac{\partial u(x,t)}{\partial t}-\Delta u(x,t)&=|u(x,t)|^{\beta_0}, &&\quad (x,t)\in \Omega\times (0,T],\\ u_{\mid \partial \Omega \times (0,T]}&=F_1(x,t)+|u(x,t)|^{\beta_1}|t-\hat{t}|^\gamma, &&\quad (x,t)\in \partial \Omega \times (0,T],\\ u_{\mid t=0}&=F_2(x), &&\quad x\in \Omega,\end{alignedat} \] where \(\beta_1,\beta_2\in (0,1)\), \(\gamma \in (-1,0)\), and the sources \(F_1\), \(F_2\) have the expression \[ F_1(x,t)=\sum_{|l|\leq p_1}\sum _{m=0}^{p_2}C_{lm}D_x^l\delta (x-\hat{x})\delta^{(m)}(t-\hat{t}), \quad F_2(x)=\sum_{|r|\leq p_3}C_rD_x^r\delta (x-\hat{x}). \] Here, \(C_{lm},C_r\) are constants, \(p_1,p_2,p_2\) are nonnegative integers, and \(D_x\) is the differentiation with respect to \(x\). Under certain conditions on the exponents \(\beta_1\), \(\beta_2\), \(\gamma\), the author establishes the existence of a solution to the above problem in a suitable weight function space by applying the Schauder fixed point theorem. The character of point singularities of the solution is also analyzed. Finally, the author obtains an existence and uniqueness result for the above problem in the case when the nonlinearities \(|u(x,t)|^{\beta_0}\) and \(|u(x,t)|^{\beta_1}|t-\hat{t}|^{\gamma}\) are multiplied by small \(L^\infty\)-perturbations. To prove this latter result, the author uses the contraction principle.
