Summary: The objective of the present paper is to obtain the sharp upper bound of \(|a_{p+1}a_{p+3}-a^2_{p+2}|\) for \(p\)-valent \(\alpha \)-convex functions of the form \(f(z)=z^p+\sum_{k=p+1}^{\infty}a_kz^k\) in the unit disc \(E=\{z:|z|<1\}\).
