The convergence of the projection polynomial method is investigated. This method is applied to periodic fractional integral equations involving the fractional Weyl integral operator in the Hölder space. Applying a general polynomial projection method, the order of convergence is provided. The method and the corresponding order of convergence are specified for three particular cases of projection methods, namely the Galerkin, collocation and the method of subdomains.
