Let \(S\) be a noetherian commutative ring. It was shown by Hopkins and Neeman [\textit{A. Neeman}, Topology 31, No. 3, 519--532 (1992; Zbl 0793.18008)] that there is an isomorphism between the lattice of thick subcategories of \(D^{\mathrm{perf}}(S)\) and the lattice of specialisations closed subsets of Spec \(S\). This result was extended by \textit{R. W. Thomason} [Compos. Math. 105, No. 1, 1--27 (1997; Zbl 0873.18003)] to non noetherian case. The structure of localising subcategories of \(D(S)\), the unbounded derived category, is far more complicated. The author considers this problem for the absolutely flat aproximation of a commutative ring with topologically noetherian spectrum. Indeed, an order preserving bijection between the localising subcategories of \(D(R)\) and certain subsets of \(\mathrm{Spec}(R)\) is obtained. As a consequence, the telescope conjecture is satisfied for this class of rings. When \(R\) is an absolutely flat ring that is not semi-artinian, the residue fields do not generate \(D(R)\) and there exist a cohomological Bousfield class that is not a Bousfield class and a localising subcategory that is not a Bousfield class. In the direction of the last result, it was conjeturated by \textit{M. Hovey} and \textit{J. H. Palmieri} [Contemp. Math. 239, 175--196 (1999; Zbl 0947.55014)] that every localising category is a Bousfield class in the stable homotopy category. The paper ends with some indications of how the results extend to the scheme theory.
