Some remarks on Kasparov theory (Q2266417)

This is an exposition of \textit{G. G. Kasparov}'s KK-theory [Math. USSR, Izv. 16, 513-572 (1981; Zbl 0464.46054)] which provides some improvements on the original treatment. In particular, the notion of ''connection'' due to the author and A. Connes is used in the construction and development of properties of the Kasparov product. If one finds it necessary to compute products in KK-theory explicitly these ideas will be very useful. This article is essential for those interested in learning and applying KK-theory.
