Convexity properties of the moment mapping. II (Q2266495)

The authors have conjectured that the image of any moment mapping associated to a Hamiltonian action of a compact Lie group G on a compact symplectic manifold X intersects each Weyl chamber in a convex polytope. In this paper they give a new proof of this conjecture in the case when X is a Kähler manifold and G preserves the complex structure on X. This proof uses properties of the gradient flow of the so-called ''Yang-Mills'' function on the product of X with a flag manifold.
