This paper deals with multivariate analysis in the case of erroneous data points by use of the extended interpolation method of \textit{D. Shepard} [A two-dimensional interpolation function for irregularly spaced data. Proc. ACM Nat. Conf., 517-524 (1968)] for approximation from specific kernel points. Calculation of the coefficients of the interpolating function and a numerical example are given.
