The circuit-simulator program SPICE has been used worldwide by industry and academia to simulate wide varieties of IC designs. With the advance of technology have come many new devices that cannot be simulated by SPICE in its current form. We present methods for implementing classes of new DC device models directly into the source code of SPICE. The techniques described are illustrated for the case of the El-Mansy MOSFET model.
