This paper deals with the geometric evolution equation \[ V_n=\Delta_{M(t)}H_{M(t)},\quad \text{on }M(t),\;t>0, \] subjected to the initial condition \[ M|_{t=0}=M_0. \] Here \(M(t)\) denotes an unknown surface; \(V_n\), \(\Delta_{M(t)}\) and \(H_{M(t)}\) are the normal velocity, the Laplace-Beltrami operator and the mean curvature of \(M(t)\) respectively. The authors prove: 1) local in time solvability of indicated problem in Besov spaces; 2) convergence of weak solution to a sphere if the initial data is sufficiently close to a sphere; 3) existence of smooth non-convex surface \(M_0\) generating global solution, which converges to a sphere.
