By means of the Nevanlinna theory in a sector, the authors consider the singular directions for meromorphic functions. Let \(f\) be a meromorphic function. Denote by \(\Delta(\theta,\varepsilon)\) a sector \(\{z: \theta-\varepsilon<\arg z< \theta+\varepsilon\}\). Asume that \(\rho=\rho(f)\), the order of growth of \(f(z)\), is finite. A direction is called a Borel direction for \(f(z)\) if, for each \(\varepsilon> 0\), \[ \limsup_{r\to\infty} {N(r,\Delta(\theta,\varepsilon), f= a)\over r^\rho}> 0, \] with two possible exceptions of \(a\in\widehat{\mathbb{C}}\). It is known that any meromorphic function of positive finite order has Borel directions. For infinite order functions and for zero order functions, the existence of \(T\)-directions was confirmed recently. The authors consider Schröder functions with a Hayman \(T\)-direction. A direction is called a Hayman \(T\)-direction for \(f(z)\) if, for each \(\varepsilon> 0\), any positive integer \(k\), and all complex numbers \(a\) and \(b\neq 0\), \[ \limsup_{r\to\infty} {N(r,\Delta(\theta,\varepsilon), f= a)+ N(r,\Delta(\theta, \varepsilon), f^{(k)}= b)\over T(r,f)}> 0. \] The authors mention that the existence of Hayman \(T\)-directions was proved recently under the condition \(\limsup_{r\to\infty}T(r, f)/(\log r)^3= \infty\), and they state that this condition is sharp. The following result is obtained in the paper. Let \(f(z)\) be a meromorphic solution of the Schröder equation \(f(sz)= R(f(z))\), where \(s\) is a complex number such that \(|s|> 1\) and \(R\) is a rational function of degree \(\geq 2\). If \(\arg s/2\pi\not\in Q\), then \(f(z)\) has any direction as Hayman \(T\)-direction.
