The goal of the present paper is to apply the methods of global asymptotic analysis of the averaged flow to the Van der Pol oscillator with an attached nonlinear energy sink and to study on this basis the structure of its oscillatory regime and their bifurcations. Several numeric verifications are in coincidence with the theory.
