The author considers a boundary-value problem for a system of partial differential equations of thermoelasticity with zero initial conditions. The boundary surface \(S\) can have conic points. The fundamental solution for this problem is constructed using the Laplace transform and used to define simple-layer, double-layer, and volume retarded potentials in the considered domain with non-smooth boundary \(S\). The properties of these potentials and asymptotics of solution near the singular points of \(S\) are studied.
