Preservation of stability of dynamical systems under homomorphisms (Q2269343)

Having in view that trajectory homomorphisms do not necessarily preserve the dynamical properties of a given model, the authors discuss very general criteria for the preservation of stability properties of abstract dynamical systems, referred to as systems of motions, under an extended notion of homomorphism. Examples illustrating the applicability of these criteria to transformations of systems of ODEs and of hybrid systems are also indicated.
