The convergence of \(q\)-Bernstein polynomials \((0< q< 1)\) and limit \(q\)-Bernstein operators in complex domains (Q2270587)

The authors consider some problems of the approximation with \(q\)-Bernstein polynomials and the limit \(q\)-Bernstein operator in complex domains. They assume that \(q\in (0,1)\) and obtain as main results an analogue of the classical result \((q=1)\) on the simultaneous approximation for the Bernstein polynomials and study the approximation of analytic functions with the help of \( B_{\infty,q}(f,z)\), the limit \(q\)-Bernstein operator.
