Complex Gleason measures and the Nemytsky operator (Q2272534)

The authors study the generalization of previous results on Gleason measures to complex Gleason measures. The main result of the paper is Theorem 9.7 where the authors show that a complex Gleason measure can be used as an operator measure for the Nemytskii operator. The work is completed by presenting applications and examples in the field of quantum mechanics, such as the spin-1 partice and the electron spin. The application of measure theory and Hilbert spaces to wave mechanics and the relation of the Gleason measure with the density operator are also presented. In the opinion of the reviewer, the authors have written a very interesting article with results that contribute to the further understanding and research in the field of quantum mechanics with a rigorous mathematical approach.
