The authors obtain some estimations of the saddle order for planar polynomial differential systems of arbitrary degree \(n\). It is proved that for any given \(p : -q\) resonant saddle point the maximal saddle order can grow at least as \(n^2\). It is also shown that there exists an integer \(K\), which grows at least as rapidly as \(3 n^2/2\) such that \(L_K\) does not belong to the ideal generated by the first \(K-1\) saddle quantities \( L_1, L_2, \dots L_{K-1}\).
