Let \(V\) be a finite-dimensional vector space over some field. Let \(G(m,1,2)\) be the wreath product of a cyclic group of order \(m\) by the symmetric group of 2 letters. For a finite subgroup \(G\subset\mathrm{GL}(V)\), the subspace arrangement \(\mathcal{A}^G\) of \(G\) is the arrangement of subspaces (in \(V\)) of fixed points of nontrivial isotropy subgroups of \(G\). For finite (real or complex) reflection groups \(W\), the subspace arrangement \(\mathcal{A}^W\) is the set of reflecting hyperplanes and their intersections. The main result that the author obtains is the theorem: Let \(G = G(m, 1, 2) \subset\mathrm{GL}(2, \mathbb{C})\). Consider \(G\) as a subgroup of the orthogonal group \(O_4(\mathbb{R})\) by identifying \(\mathbb{C}^2\) with \(\mathbb{R}^4\). Then for \(m\) sufficiently large, \(G\) is a rotation group such that \(\mathcal{A}^G\) is not contained in \(\mathcal{A}^W\) for any real reflection group \(W \subset O_4(\mathbb{R})\).
