Let \(\mathcal{M}=(M,g)\) be a closed negatively curved real analytic Riemannian manifold of dimension \(n\). Let \(\{\phi_j,\lambda_j^2\}\) be a complete spectral resolution of the scalar Laplacian on \(\mathcal{M}\) where \(0=\lambda_0<\lambda_1\le\lambda_2\dots\). Let \(\phi_j^{\mathbb{C}}\) be the associated holomorphic extension of the eigenfunction \(\phi_j\) to the Grauert tube \(\mathcal{M}_{\tau_0}\). The authors show that there exists a constant \(\alpha=\alpha(n)\) and a full density subsequence \(\{\lambda_{j_k}\}\) so that the masses and also the complex zeros of \(\phi_{\lambda_{j_k}}^{\mathbb{C}}\) on \(\mathcal{M}_{\tau_0}-M\) are asymptotically equidistributed at length scale \(\{\log(\lambda_{j_k})\}^{-\alpha}\). Section 1 provides an introduction to the subject. Section 2 provides the necessary background (Grauert tube, Szegö projector), Section 3 treats balls and dilatations in Grauert tubes (holomorphic dilation, phase space dilation), Section 4 discusses the Poisson conjugation of log-scale Toeplitz operators (semi-classical Poisson-wave operator, log scale symbols, semi-classical Poisson conjugation, comparison of symbols), Section 5 discusses decomposable Poisson-FBI transform and Bergman-Toeplitz operators (weighted Bergman space and Poisson-FBI transform, FBI Conjugation theorem), Section 6 presents log-scale quantum ergodicity in the real domain, Section 7 invokes log-scale quantum ergodicity in Grauert tubes, and Section 8 discusses log-scale equidistribution of complex zeros. Appendix A discusses currents of integration over singular varieties.
