This paper is devoted to the following convolution type integral equation \[ f(x)=\sum\limits_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{(\pi-x)^n}{n!}y^{*n}(x), \quad 0 < x< \pi, \] \[ y^{*1}(x)=y(x), \quad y^{*(n+1)}(x)=(y*y^{*n})(x)=\int\limits_{0}^{x}y(x-t)y^{*n}(t)dt, \] with respect to the unknown function \(y(x)\). The authors construct an effective algorithm for solving equations of this type in the class of analytic functions. The suggested method is based on the Borel transform under the assumption that the free term of this equation is an entire function of exponential type.
