Since the Hamiltonian of the Dirac equation is nonpositive, the authors give an estimate for the \(L_2\) norm of the solution using the unitarity of the free Dirac propagator. Such kind of estimate provides the existence of the global solution. Also, the unitarity of the free Dirac propagator in the case of the linearized equation provides exponential bounds for the \(L_2\) norm of the solution, which guarantees the existence of the global solution. The analyticity of the resolvent is obtained by bifurcation arguments. A time decay of the linearized dynamics is based on the weighted decay for the free Dirac equation in a moving frame.
