The curves under consideration are plane sextics with simple singularities only, a distinguished singular point of type \({\mathbf E}_6\) and no singular points of type \({\mathbf E}_7\) or \({\mathbf E}_8\). With this note the author concludes the series of papers [Geom. Topol. 14, No. 1, 393--433 (2010; Zbl 1175.14024)], [Tohoku Math. J. (2) 62, No. 3, 329--355 (2010; Zbl 1206.14055)], giving a complete deformation classification and computing the fundamental groups of irreducible plane sextics with maximal value of total Milnor number and an \({\mathbf E}\)-type singular point. The results are obtained by reducing such curves to maximal trigonal ones in an appropriate Hirzebruch's surface and studying them using Grothendieck's dessins d'enfants. An explicit geometric description of such curves is also given.
