The paper is devoted to the proof of the following result: Theorem: Let \(F^{n}\subset E^{n+p}\) be a regular submanifold. If the normal connection is flat and the Grassmann image \( \Gamma (F^{n})\) has constant curvature \(\overline{K}\), then: 1) If \(p<n-1\), then either \(\Gamma (F^{n})\) is degenerate, or \(\overline{K}\equiv 1\) and \(p=1\). 2) If \(p=n-1\), then either \(\overline{K}\equiv 0\) and \(\Gamma (F^{n})\) is degenerate, or \(\overline{K}\equiv 1\) and \(p=1\) or \(\overline{K}=\frac{1}{p^{2}}\). 3) If \(p>n-1\) then \(\overline{K}\) is any constant \(\overline{K}\in [0,1].\) Notice that Y. C. Wang has proved that the sectional curvature of the Grassmann manifold \(G(n;n+p)\) ranges within \([0,2]\). The result proved in the paper under review can also be related to some results of \textit{Y. Muto} [J. Math. Soc. Japan 30 (1978; Zbl 0363.53026)] and \textit{Yu. A. Nikolaevskii} [Ukr. Geom. Sb. 33, 77--91 (1990; Zbl 0724.53005)] who found some specific classes which \(F^{n}\) belongs to, provided that \(\Gamma (F^{n})\) has a constant curvature \(\overline{K}\in \{0,1,2\}\).
