Topologies generated by porosity and strong porosity (Q2276794)

\textit{L. Zajíček} in 1986 has introduced the strong porosity topology s and its extension \(s^*\). This paper is devoted to the study of these topologies defined on a normed linear space Q. Among others it is proved that s possesses the complete Lusin-Menchoff property and that \(s^*\)-continuous functions on a Hilbert space are in the first Baire class. The last paper deals with \(s^*\)-continuous functions defined on R. It is proved that there exists such a function which does not belong to \(M_ 3\) (the class of Zahorski).
