A Frobenius object \(X=(A,B,\alpha,\beta)\) is composed of a pair of commutative rings A and B of characteristic \(p>0,\) and of a pair of morphisms \(\alpha: A\to B\) and \(\beta: B\to A\) such that the composites \(\alpha\beta\) and \(\beta\alpha\) are respectively equal to the Frobenius maps of B and A. - For every B-module W, the author introduces modified homology modules \(F_ n(A,B,W)\). \(F_ 0(A,B,W)\) is isomorphic to the module of differentials \(H_ 0(A,B,W)\). The functor \(F_ 1(A,B,-)\) is zero if and only if the morphism \(\alpha\) is flat and the module of differentials is also flat. The paper describes the Frobenius category, the modified homology groups. The property \(F_ 1(A,B,.)=0\) is shown to be rather stable.
