The paper is a continuation of part one [the authors and \textit{M. J. Karbe}, Ill. J. Math. 33, 333-359 (1989; Zbl 0666.20018)], where Fitting classes of \(S_ 1\)-groups were introduced and investigated. In this paper is considered a subclass K of \(S_ 1\)-groups which contains F, the class of all finite soluble groups, and which is \(\{S,D_ 0\}\)-closed. The K-Fitting classes and the corresponding injectors are defined. The \({}^*\)-construction of Lockett is introduced and a number of elementary properties of this construction are established. The main interest in the results arises from the fact that X-injectors, where X is a nontrivial K- Fitting class, need not exist in a group \(G\in K\). A study of injectors of Lockett classes in direct products is made. Finally, the existence and conjugacy of X-injectors in K-groups is studied.
