    For 2-surfaces in 4-space, the authors propose visualization by projecting along the \(x_ 4\)-axis into 3-space and then using standard graphics. Some examples are given. \{Reviewer's remark: A mathematician should note that an ``offset curve'' is a canal surface defined by a space curve; all examples are quickly and easily computed with pencil and paper.\}
