In this paper, the author provides a characterization, among zero-dimensional frames, of the canonical isomorphism between the Banaschewski compactification of the binary coproduct \(L\oplus M\) of frames and the coproduct of their respective Banaschewski compactifications, namely \(\zeta L\oplus\zeta M\), in terms of the tensor product of the rings \(\mathfrak{Z}^\ast L\) and \(\mathfrak{Z}^\ast M\) of all bounded integer-valued continuous functions on the respective frames \(L\) and \(M\). In particular, it is established that the canonical homomorphism \(h_{L,M}:\zeta L\oplus\zeta M\longrightarrow\zeta(L\oplus M)\) is an isomorphism iff the ring \(\mathfrak{Z}^\ast L\otimes_\mathfrak{Z}\mathcal{Z}^\ast M\) is canonically identical to \(\mathfrak{Z}^\ast(L\oplus M)\).
