Semi-simple orbital integrals and center of the enveloping algebra (Q2280092)

In the earlier papers [C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 347, No. 19--20, 1189--1195 (2009; Zbl 1183.58001); Hypoelliptic Laplacian and orbital integrals. Princeton, NJ: Princeton University Press (2011; Zbl 1234.58001)], the first named author established an explicit formula for the semi-simple orbital integrals associated with a heat kernel of the symmetric space, based on a hypoelliptic deformation of the Casimir operator. The purpose of the paper under review is to extend this formula to the case of the composition of such kernels with arbitrary elements of the center of the enveloping algebra.
