This multilayer paper of thirty six pages presents various fundamentals and investigations related to vector bundles and isoparametric functions that involve Radon transforms and symmetric spaces. The purpose of the paper is justified by systematically constructing isoparametric functions on symmetric spaces of compact type. Section 1 is enriched by referring to many relevant results and a potential history that has made avenues for writing the present paper. A homogeneous vector bundle is employed and a section is simultaneously chosen to construct an isoparametric function on an irreducible symmetric space. Relevant notations and definitions are provided in the paper. The concept that the principal orbits are hyperspheres of a certain module (explained in the paper), a subgroup is obtained, which despite its having restriction to a number of considerable pairs. The authors could make this lucid in Section 5 and sections related to it. In Section 3 we notice prominent features of the zero locus. On the contrary, another interplay of vector bundles and submanifolds are also discussed. The geometry of submanifolds of symmetric spaces involving vector bundles and sections have been further investigated in Section 3. The authors, specifically have dealt with cases related to hypersurfaces. An interpretation for the clarification of employment for choosing representations of spherical type are given in Section 5, where a certain Radon transform is defined and invoked using the normalized Haar measure on isometry group. The Radon transform, then, is shown to be an isoparametric function on a sphere.
