The bounded weak solutions of the Dirichlet's problem for the elliptic equation \(-\operatorname{div}(M(x)\nabla u)+ E(x)\cdot\nabla u+a(x)u=f(x)\) in \(\mathbb{R}^N\), \(N>2\) are studied in the paper. No smoothness assumptions on \(E(x),a(x)\) and the coefficients of the principal part are supposed. The approach due to E. De Giorgi and G. Stampacchia is applied for differential operators with discontinuous coefficients. Main results are Theorem 2.1 and Theorem 3.1 proved in details. Two interesting examples are given.
