Using techniques involving viscosity solutions, the authors study fully nonlinear singularly perturbed parabolic equations under a suitable singular limit for which solutions are uniformly Lipschitz continuous in space and Hölder continuous in time. In the limit, one derives a free boundary problem. Last but not least, the authors analyze the behaviour of solutions near the free boundary.
