The neutral differential system \[\frac{d}{dt}(y(t)+Dy(t-\tau)) = A(t)y(t)+B(t)y(t-\tau)+F(t, y(t), y(t-\tau))\] is considered for \(t>0\), where \(D\) is a real constant \(n\times n\) matrix, \(A(t)\) and \(B(t)\) are real-valued \(n\times n\) matrices of continuous \(T\)-periodic functions, \(\tau >0\) is the delay parameter, and \(F: [0, \infty)\times\mathbb{R}^n\times\mathbb{R}^n \to \mathbb{R}^n\) is a vector of continuous real-valued functions. Under suitable conditions, sufficient conditions are established for the zero solution to be exponentially stable, the domain of attraction is discussed, and estimates for solutions are provided characterizing the stabilization rate at infinity. This work for nonlinear systems with periodic linear part is based on the authors' previous work on systems with autonomous linear part (i.e., \(A\) and \(B\) are constant matrices) and some work for linear periodic systems in literature. Stability results for linear and autonomous systems can be seen frequently but rare and interesting for nonlinear nonautonomous systems.
