The boundary value problems $L_j$, $j=0,1,$ for the differential equation \[ -y''+q(x))y=\lambda y,\;x\in(0,\pi) \] with boundary conditions $y(0)=y^{(j)}(\pi)=0,$ are considered. The authors study the inverse problem of recovering the coefficient $q(x)$ from the given eigenvalues of $L_j$. For this class of inverse problem a local solvability and stability of the solution are established.
