In this paper, authors introduced a generalization of linear complementary pairs of codes (LCP) that is linear \(\ell \)-intersection of pairs of codes. They characterized this type of codes by using generator and parity check matrices. Since linear complementary pairs of codes have applications to cryptography, constructing its generalizations may also play significant role in secure communication. Moreover, error detection and correction processes are needed for quantum computers. Hence, finding good quantum error correcting codes is important topic. Authors constructed entanglement-assisted quantum error correcting codes that have good parameters by using linear \(\ell \)-intersection of pairs of codes.
